In a new State of Play, PlayStation has officially revealed Gran Turismo 7The World Map, which features an all-new in-game mall that allows players to purchase over 300 different post-2001 cars. the Gran Turismo has released quality experiences for every console generation and is generally considered a major selling point for PlayStation consoles due to its recognized reputation as one of the best racing video game franchises. Slated to be the eighth main installment in the long-running franchise, Gran Turismo 7 will launch in early March on PS4 and PS5 and will set in motion an expansive new visually stunning journey with plenty of new features and next-gen console-specific extras for long-time fans and newcomers alike.
Released during the 25th anniversary of the series, Gran Turismo 7 aims to place a strong emphasis on realism and immersion. The racing simulator includes limited ray tracing technology to produce incredibly realistic lighting effects and reflections and features a dynamic weather system affected by air, temperature, humidity and road surface which will change the way players race. Like the previous episode of the series GT Sports, Gran Turismo 7 will require an online connection to play offline and online. This is ostensibly used to deter cheaters, but many players have expressed frustration with this feature, believing it will cause connectivity issues and ruin the whole experience.
In a new in-depth look at the state of play, PlayStation has revealed Gran Turismo 7the brand new car dealership. Entitled “Brand Central,“The International Dealership is a shopping center where players can purchase approximately 300 car models manufactured after the year 2001, with more than 50 brands from North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. In addition to Purchasing vehicles, players will be able to view each automaker’s museum, which will help them learn the history and origin of each brand with unique images and text.
While Brand Central is confirmed to have around 300 vehicles for players to purchase, another 100 vehicles are expected to appear. In a recent trailer, Kazunori Yamauchi, Game Director and CEO of Polyphony Digital revealed that Gran Turismo 7 would include over 400 cars to collect. With the addition of 300 purchasable cars, players will be able to unlock another 100 by leveling up when the game launches.
Gran Turismo 7 Seems to have won the vehicle list award, as the title was confirmed to have almost 3x more vehicles than the previous installment as of launch date.
